What you will gain from the workshop
Accessibility means more than putting materials online and it’s important that they work for everyone. Accessibility is not just about technical standards and checks. It also means making your content and online resources clear and simple enough so that most people can use it without needing to adapt it, while supporting those who do. Making digital learning material accessible also supports inclusive teaching and learning and help students learn independently.
In her workshop delegates will be introduced to guidelines, techniques and regulations for improving digital accessibility. Delegates will also get the opportunities to learn some basic accessibility techniques that can be shared with colleagues.
