Module Evaluation Survey 2019/20

Module Evaluations are designed to inform the enhancement of learning and teaching across the University, and therefore contribute to the delivery of an outstanding student and learning experience. Through engaging staff and students in the evaluation and reporting process, module evaluations stimulate meaningful dialogue concerning pedagogic practice and the student experience.
The module evaluation window for Semester 1 2019/20 will open on Monday 11th November 2019 and close on Sunday 24th November 2019.

Teaching Development Workshop

The first Teaching Development Workshop is scheduled to take place on Tuesday 12th November (1pm-3pm). This workshop is for colleagues who may be new to teaching (and not yet completed the PgCLTHE) or for those who may be more experienced but having recently joined Teesside University, would like further insights around learning and teaching here at Teesside. It is also relevant for longer established academics who would like a ‘refresher’ around L&T and/or currently experiencing challenges in aspects of their professional delivery.

Transform Lunches

Academic Registry (AREG) is pleased to launch the TRANSFORM Lunches which will take place throughout the academic year and provide an opportunity for colleagues to explore key University initiatives in more detail. The first TRANSFORM Lunch will be held on Wednesday 11th December 2019 and focuses on Enhancing Student Success through Digital Transformation

We have an exciting workshop opportunity coming up around ‘Enhancing Staff and Students Partnerships in Learning’ delivered by an External Consultant, John Lea.
John is currently the Research Director for the Higher Education Funding Council for England catalyst funded project centred on enhancing scholarship in college HE in England. Before taking up this post he was the Head of Academic Professional Development at Canterbury Christ Church University, UK.
