Pack your virtual bags – the Assessment and Feedback Virtual Roadshow is hitting the road!
From Monday 14 to Friday 18 September, we are travelling virtually across the UK and stopping off at institutions from towns and cities across the breadth of our membership community. Each stop shows how colleagues are tackling some of the biggest questions in assessment and feedback right now: from innovation and experimentation to AI, authentic assessment and student success
For anyone shaping or delivering assessment day to day, it is a chance to see what is already working elsewhere – and to borrow, adapt and apply it in your own context. Rather than working a challenge through from scratch, you can pick up tested, real-world approaches from peers who understand the pressures you are under.
What is it?
Each day offers something different, such as:
Monday 14 September authentic assessment, built for the real world
Tuesday 15 September assessment literacy, rubrics and student partnership
Wednesday 16 September assessment and feedback in the AI era
Thursday 17 September making feedback work harder
Friday 18 September assessment through industry and partnership
You can see the full programme and pick the stops that suit your work.
Who is it for?
There is a stop for anyone involved in assessment and feedback, from quality professionals, programme and module leaders, teaching directors, academic colleagues and student representatives, right through to senior leaders. Whether you are after fresh ideas, practical examples from elsewhere or simply want to see what the sector is doing, you will find something to take back to your team.
