The self-nomination window for the MIEE programme is now open, running from 9 May to 31 July 2025. The outcomes of applications will be announced by the end of September 2025.
Microsoft Innovative Educator Experts are visionary educators who are always learning, growing, and collaborating with others to create positive change in education. They use Microsoft technologies and innovative teaching practices to enhance student engagement, creativity, and collaboration. They also share their expertise and insights with other educators through various platforms, such as local training events, conferences, blogs, social media, and more.
Completing the MIEE will support your professional recognition goals; Fellowship of Advance HE, evidencing commitment to personal development and professional updating.

How to Apply
** All new and renewing MIE Expert applicants will now need to complete the same 2025-2026 application
- Join Microsoft Learn and create a profile. When self-nominating for the MIEE, you’ll be asked to share the URL to your achievements in Learn (learn.microsoft.com > Profile picture > Profile > Achievements) by copying it and pasting it into the nomination form.
- Complete FOUR learning pathways (*For renewing applicants, some of the Microsoft Learn courses may have changed/been updated since last year, so they might require additional work.)
- Download a copy of the questions document and prepare your responses.
- Sign in or sign up at https://aka.ms/edunominate.
- Fill out the application survey during the application window (May 2025- July 2025).
