Are you ready to stand out, grow professionally, and empower student creativity?

Teesside University staff can now access three levels of the Adobe Creative Educator (ACE) programme.

Completing the ACE will support your professional recognition goals; Fellowship of Advance HE, evidencing commitment to personal development and professional updating.

What is the Adobe Creative Educator (ACE) Programme?

ACE is a self-paced professional development pathway designed by Adobe to help educators explore, embed, and champion creativity in teaching and learning. By undertaking the courses, you will:

  • Learn what creativity means in education and how to foster it in your practice
  • Gain practical, transferrable skills in Adobe’s powerful creative tools
  • Join a global network of like-minded educators

Why Apply?

Becoming an Adobe Creative Educator offers numerous benefits:

  • Professional Growth: Undertaking the ACE courses will provide staff with tips on cultivating and assessing creativity.
  • Technical & Pedagogical Support: The ACE courses will provide guidance on how Adobe’s creative tools can help and support enhancing teaching and learning.
  • Networking Opportunities: Build connections with and stay connected to Adobe’s Creative Educator Community to share, collaborate and grow.
  • Fellowship Status: Completing the ACE programme also supports your case for Advanced HE Fellowship, offering clear evidence of professional learning and reflective practice.

How to get started

The ACE program is flexible and can be completed at your own pace and in your own time. Use the following steps to begin your journey:

Step 1: ACE Level 1 – Creativity for All
Explore creativity in education and how to integrate it into your work. Your task? Work through the learning content and create a simple graphic with an Adobe tool that reflects your commitment to creativity.

Step 2: ACE Level 2 – Choose Your Path
After Level 1, deepen your practice by delving deeper into creative instructional design and advanced Adobe tools. With one of two options (nothing is stopping you from completing both courses):

 > Design Your Creative Course: Great for any educator looking to embed creativity into learning objectives and feedback.

 > Design Your Creative Class: Tailored for HE, this option explores inclusive, online, and personalised creativity in your modules.

Step 3: ACE Level 3 – Coming Soon!!
Adobe has launched its new ACE Innovators Programme, offering next-level development. The application portal isn’t open yet, but we’ll let you know as soon as it is!
