The highly anticipated new and improved version of Adobe Express is now widely available!
Adobe Express has been totally reimagined. It is now all-in-one content creation app that makes it easy and fun, to design and share standout content, helping students of all disciplines to turn any class assignment into expressive multimedia creations.
For IT Admins, a couple of things you should be aware of:
- This is a desktop-only launch for Adobe Express: The new Adobe Express is only available on desktop via a web browser. Mobile is coming soon! For now, the existing mobile app experience will remain in place and there will not be a mobile web option at this time.
- IOS EOL: The Page and Video iOS apps are going away and getting subsumed into the Express app at mobile GA.
- Doc conversion: Users will see their old projects in a folder and can continue to edit Page and Post projects in the new Adobe Express. Video projects can be deleted, downloaded, and unpublished, but can’t be edited in their old format.
- Remixable links are not available through GA: A new, improved version will be released as a fast follow.
- Remember we also have the new format that triggers SSO log-in for Adobe Express : https://express.adobe.com/a/com
For Staff & Faculty, we have an exciting new faculty development series launching.
- This is a global development series and over the next 2 months, faculty can sign up for a 30 min repeating workshop that serves as a front door to Adobe-led faculty development, with an emphasis on new product use cases, student examples, and tangible methods for HED faculty and teaching staff to integrate Adobe Express and Firefly into their courses.
- The first session Integrating AI and Adobe Express for Digital Fluency, is available now for registration and will continue through September, with at least one session per week. Adobe also plan to continue launching series in the future with similar formatting.
