This one-hour online, synchronous session has been designed to introduce colleagues involved in teaching and supporting an increasingly internationally diverse student population to a network of University colleagues who are keen to offer support in their respective areas of experience or expertise, related to internationalising learning and teaching, including:
- Student Preparedness;
- Global Community;
- Internationalising the Curriculum;
- Student Mobility;
- Staff Mobility;
- English Language Skills;
- Student Life;
and many others.
In this session, which is open to all University staff, but which will be more specifically relevant to those involved in teaching and supporting students, you will have the opportunity to:
- learn more about the University Internationalising Learning and Teaching support network and meet some of its members;
- explain what your needs are, in terms of internationalisation of learning and teaching, in an open and supportive environment;
- share ideas about what to do in the first couple of teaching weeks to promote the development of an international learning and teaching environment.
We are hoping that the issues surfaced during the session may inform, and enable us to target, support for colleagues teaching and supporting learning in an internationalised environment.
