UKAT Annual Conference – March 2021
Call for conference proposals.
This conference explores how personal tutoring and academic advising help students become independent, self-regulating learners. Contributions are specifically invited on the topics of;
- Addressing disparities in engagement by students from groups underrepresented in HE and/or with protected characteristics.
- Addressing disparities in progression and degree outcomes for students from groups underrepresented in HE and/or with protected characteristics.
- Peer learning.
- Embedding study skills.
Presenting a session or poster at our conference is a good way to showcase your ideas and achievements, get feedback on your work, develop your professional confidence, build your networks and start new discussions. Summarising your project, practice, or research as a poster is a great way to engage with friendly and appreciative colleagues in the field to explain your accomplishments and receive feedback that helps you take your work further.
