As many of you will know, in July 2019 we ran the first annual Teesside University Digital Learning Conference; a national event with attendance from across the education and business sectors. The conference was a great success and, naturally, we were very much looking forward to our second event in July 2020.

In order to prioritise support for Course Teams in preparing to implement the hybrid teaching model, we have made the decision not to go ahead with our July 2020 Digital Learning Conference.

Since the University’s move to remote learning/teaching/working in late March, LTE Online has been the hub through which we’ve provided an extensive array of guidance, resources and daily blog posts (we encourage you to subscribe if you’ve not yet done so). This will continue to be the case as focus shifts towards 2020/21, with LTE offering a wealth of opportunities for colleagues to engage with in relation to the University’s hybrid delivery teaching model, all of which will be communicated through LTE Online or cascaded down through your School.

LTE is here to support colleagues with a range of services. We can, of course, be contacted through elearning@tees.ac.uk for general enquiries ranging from assistance with course/assessment design, StREAM Personal Tutoring or digital technologies. Our ‘online drop-ins’ offer colleagues the chance to book 30 minute slots with a Principal Lecturer, Digital Learning Designer or Online Learning Designer, with more information about this here.
