What is it?
Forms is a tool for setting up surveys and quizzes available to staff and students with their University Office 365 account. You can create up to 200 forms with 100 questions per form.
What’s it for?
A great tool for gathering data it can be used for research purposes, knowledge check quizzes, feedback and evaluation. It can be used to gather and collate any information you need.
Is there an app for it?
No, Forms is accessed online across all devices. You can share Forms via a link or a QR code. You can also share a link to collaborate with others.
How long does it take to set up?
You can set up a simple Form in minutes. As you work the form is automatically saved, there are 7 basic question types with the ability to add branching and sections. A visual summary of responses is provided and all data can be saved to an Excel spreadsheet.
Are other people using it?
Yes, you can use forms to create a quick poll in Teams and to ask a question in class. We have a case study in which Forms is used to collate anonymous peer assessment feedback.

Support for Students
Dedicated iPad support for students is available from Nicki Wise who is based on the ground floor of the Library. Nicki’s role is to help and support students to get maximum benefit from their devices and the toolkit.
Nicki is available to students for drop ins between 09:00-16:00, Monday to Friday throughout Semester 1 in the Library. Students can also book a 1 to 1 session with Nicki.
