What is the Adobe Education Institute?

This online programme helps educators boost their digital skills using Adobe tools—especially Adobe Express, which is free for all Teesside staff and students. Join live expert-led workshops, explore tutorials, and try creative tasks at your own pace.

Pick and choose from a series of expert-led live sessions, tutorials, and practical activities sessions or sign up for the full experience. Earn digital badges for each session, become an Adobe Fellow by attending four, or aim for Influencer status by joining six and completing extra tasks.

Work Towards Your Adobe Fellowship

One of the great benefits of taking part is the opportunity to achieve Adobe Creative Educator (ACE) Fellowship status, an international recognition of your professional development and creative confidence with Adobe tools. You will also achieve session badges for each session you attend.

By completing the Institute programme, you’ll meet the criteria to apply for Adobe Fellowship, with support provided by the Digital Learning Specialist team to guide you through the process.

It’s also worth noting that Adobe Fellowship achievement can be used to support your:

  • PGCLTHE development pathway
  • Advance HE Fellowship applications

This makes it a valuable addition to your professional portfolio.

What’s Next? How to Achieve Your Adobe Fellowship

By taking part in the Adobe Education Institute event, staff can work towards earning a range of digital credentials, including the internationally recognised Adobe Creative Educator Fellowship badge.  This year, Adobe are offering, next to the Credly Badge and the Fellow Badge a NEW credential for participants who choose to go above and beyond: Adobe Education Institute Influencer.

Here’s how it works:

Credential How to Earn

Individual Session Badges

Earned by attending a live session or completing an on-demand recording.

Fellow Badge

Attend or complete at least four sessions during the Institute.

Influencer Badge (New!)

Attend at least six sessions and submit a portfolio of work created in Adobe Express. Exceptional portfolios may lead to an invitation to join Adobe’s elite Thought Leader group and be showcased at future events.

These credentials are awarded directly by Adobe and provide a clear and flexible pathway to recognition, whether you’re just getting started with Adobe tools or looking to deepen your creative practice.
