Research Pedagogic Practice (RePP) series is launching in 2023-24

The online Research Pedagogic Practice series aims to shine a light on key aspects of pedagogy and the scholarship of teaching and learning, breaking down what the key aspects of pedagogy are and how these can be realised in current practice, whether that be online delivery, face to face delivery, or a mixture of both.

Join Dr Bron Eager as she shares her transformative journey in artificial intelligence (AI), from initial exploration to innovative applications in higher education contexts.

This session will provide insights into:

  • Personal Exploration: Dr Eager’s path of discovery with AI tools and their integration into her academic teaching and research practices.
  • AI-Enhanced Content Creation: Learn about using AI tools to design and create teaching materials, including AI-generated video lectures.
  • Partnership Approach: Discover Dr Eager’s student-centric method of teaching AI. Emphasising a collaborative learning experience, she underscores the mutual journey of understanding and applying AI for both educator and student.
  • AI-Driven Curriculum Design: Explore how AI has been instrumental in designing teaching units, and how it can aid in creating assessments aligned with learning outcomes and meeting industry employment expectations.

This session promises to offer a highly practical and applied perspective, giving attendees insights into the real-world experiences of an educator and researcher at the forefront of AI integration in higher education.

Participants are encouraged to come with their questions and share their experiences, fostering a collaborative environment where we can collectively advance our understanding of AI.
