LTE Bites represents Academic Registry’s ongoing commitment to providing the highest quality pedagogic support and guidance to academic staff. Comprising a series of practical resources designed to engage university staff with the latest pedagogic thinking, research and practice both institutionally and from a wider sector perspective, LTE Bites will eventually take a variety of different forms, available via LTE online, to ensure resources are accessible and responsive to the needs of our staff.

The first of these new resources are now available and include a series of practice digests outlining key research and practical guidance for teaching staff relating to specific areas of assessment and feedback. 5 LTE Bites resources are now available around 1) Course-focused Assessment; 2) Delivering high quality feedback; 3) Inclusive assessment; 4) Enhancing student assessment literacy; and 5) Designing formative assessment.

You can access the resources by navigating to the ‘Resources’ tab on LTE Online, and then selecting Learning and Teaching. LTE Bites will automatically drop down as the first option.

You can also click here for a short-cut.

It is anticipated that future LTE Bites resources will be co-produced with university staff and students – to this end, if you have ideas in mind for useful topics for future LTE Bites practice digests, please contact s.elkington@tees.ac.uk.
