We would like to provide advance notice of writing support for colleagues progressing Senior Fellowship Applications through the University’s Professional Development Framework: RELT (Recognising Excellence in Learning and Teaching).
The University’s RELT Professional Development Framework is accredited by Advance HE and provides external and independent confirmation that our CPD Programme is aligned with the UK Professional Standards Framework for Teaching and Supporting Learning in Higher Education (UKPSF). It provides participants with the opportunity to be professionally recognised through Advance HE’s Fellowship Scheme.
We are planning to hold a Writing Workshop on Tuesday 4th June 2019 (1pm-4.30pm). This will be delivered by an External Consultant, Dr John Lea, and will support colleagues progressing SFHEA Applications through RELT. The purpose of this half day workshop will be to provide writing support and guidance to colleagues currently registered with us as progressing Senior Fellowship applications. It will be specifically targeted at those colleagues who are intending to submit their applications through the University’s CPD Programme in Autumn 2019. In order to take full advantage colleagues will be expected to complete some preparation work ahead of the workshop which will be action oriented ensuring colleagues leave with a tangible output in the form of a draft SFHEA Application that they can continue to progress with a view to submitting in Autumn 2019.
To be able to attend this writing workshop colleagues need to have attended a RELT Workshop and then subsequently registered with us as progressing a Senior Fellowship Application. RELT Workshops are delivered monthly, more information including signing up for one can be done via this link.
If you are interested in the Writing Workshop and not able to attend a RELT Workshop before the date then please contact Kim Donovan (K.Donovan@tees.ac.uk) and Nicola Poppitt (n.poppitt@tees.ac.uk).
