The Teaching Excellence Alliance invites you to join a webinar which will explore FLEX, an innovative, open-license and practice-based academic professional development initiative.
The webinar will involve a professional reflective dialogue between the FLEX initiative leader and an academic who engaged with it as a student. Together, they will explore the institutional context, reflect on their experiences, and identify the short-term and immediate outcomes that demonstrate how FLEX meets academic development needs.
Academics and other educationalists who teach or support learning designed FLEX. It brings together formal, informal and open development opportunities which can lead to academic credits at postgraduate level and/or HEA professional recognition. The Centre for Excellence in Learning and Teaching at Manchester Metropolitan University developed FLEX in 2014.
The webinar is taking place 12:00-13:00 on Wednesday 26 September. For further information or to sign up, please click here.
