Following the My Grades updates announced earlier this month ..

.. we’re pleased to announce another improvement to the My Grades tool.

For Students:

Students can now send themselves an email listing all their assignment, test & survey submissions on Blackboard for the last 12 months.

This is one of the most requested Blackboard improvements we receive, so hopefully, it will be popular.

Students can get to it by going to the My Grades tool and pressing the Email Submission Receipt button.

For Staff:

Staff also access the feature through My Grades, and have the option of sending themselves an email that replicates the one received by any of the students on their module.

We maintain an audit trail of emails sent to students, so they can be used with confidence as proof of assignment submission.

Just one last thing – some users have requested receipt emails that are sent automatically when a student submits an assignment. Unfortunately, for technical reasons, this isn’t possible, so we’ve settled on the next best thing.
