Bulk Edit Question Points in Tests
A handy feature for those who use tests in Blackboard, you can now edit the points of your questions in bulk. The feature allows you to filter the question types in a test, and automatically regrade them all. For example, you’ve created a test with a mix of question types, all worth 1 point each. You then decide that Essay type questions should be worth 5 points. You can now use the feature to automatically adjust all Essay type questions with a few clicks, rather than having to edit each question in turn.
Achievements – Generate or Upload Badge Images
In previous updates, we’ve discussed the inclusion of Achievements, Blackboard digital badging. When this exciting new tool was rolled out, badge images came from a pre-set collection. Now, you have greater flexibility in designing the look and feel of the badge. You can still use the pre-set images, and now upload your own image, select from Unsplash’s stock images or even use the Design Assist to generate an image based on your prompt. How Am I Doing?
For students, they can now get a quick overview of their progress in a module. From the home page in Blackboard, students can view all their results in one place via the Marks panel. From here, there’s the option to see their “Module Progress” and when this is accessed, a “How Am I Doing?” side panel appears.
