Blackboard release monthly update to their software, the November updates brings the following improvements:
This blog post will guide you through some of the new features, why they have been introduced, how they can benefit a module and how to incorporate them into your teaching.
You can now add images in the normal Text Box editor
Up till now, you couldn’t add images directly into the same text box as your prose. Previously, images needed to be added into separate boxes from your text. The new image insertion tool will also allow images to be zoomed into, and to have the aspect ratio adjusted prior to insertion. Once inserted, images can also be resized by using the grab handles on the inserted image.

Improvements to Journal navigation
To make the User Interface (UI) easier to navigate in Journals, the ‘Marks and Participation’ options are now accessible via the tab located at the top of the Journal screen. This also provides consistency of navigation with the UI for Discussions and Assignments.
