Student Learning are hosting their annual conference alongside the Student Life Festival in March 2024 as part of SLAR’s LTExChange Symposium season. The conference will celebrate and explore the benefits of peer learning.
Through a variety of events across the week we aim to inspire and challenge students to get involved and work together throughout their student journey to achieve great success at Teesside and hone those skills for future prosperity:
- A series of Lightening Talks showcasing innovative student peer learning projects
- A series of student voice think tanks
- An ‘in conversation’ panel event
- Networking opportunities for students embodying the values of peer-to-peer learning
Our aim is that the event will contribute to the nurturing and enhancement of graduate attributes through learning and research, helping to cultivate a sense of belonging at Teesside through engaging in peer learning activity.
We look to highlight the correlation between success and cultivating strong peer-to-peer relationships through collaboration, and to inspire students by shining a spotlight on current peer learning projects.
Call for proposals
We invite TU students to submit any innovative and dynamic student peer learning projects they may be involved with, for inclusion in the expo.
We ask for a short statement encompassing the project brief (no more than 500 words) alongside details of the students involved. This can be submitted here via the below form by 16.30 Friday 9th February 2024.
All students involved in the project will then be invited to present their project as part of the Student Learning conference.
Please could you promote this to TU students in any comms you are sending out, and if you are aware of any students involved in projects, please encourage them to submit a proposal.
