STEP
In August 2022 Teesside University launched the Student Transition Entry Pole (known as the STEP survey). STEP is a pre-arrival survey which students are invited to complete prior to their arrival. The survey supports student transitions to Teesside University and enables the University to hear from students before they start their course.
Teesside University will use this information to support enhancements to the student experience and services for both current and future students. The survey is also a learning tool for students to reflect on previous education experiences and consider areas of their development.
Students eligible to complete the survey will be prompted to do so through the applicant and enrolment portal. The survey should take around 10 minutes to complete and along with enabling the University to understand a little more about our students it provides an opportunity for individual students to seek support with any urgent support queries they may have ahead of starting their course.
The STEP survey is delivered through EvaSys which students may also use to complete module evaluation surveys throughout their study. More information relating to EyaSys and module evaluation surveys can be found here https://blogs.tees.ac.uk/lteonline/projects/surveys/evasys-module-evaluations/
