The session will be delivered in person on campus and will begin with a brief overview of the revised CME process, followed by an overview of the data provided within the reporting templates that will be accessible via SQL (please bring a laptop device that you can use to access your report). This session is for all Course Leaders, Link Tutors, HoDs, ADs (all), PL (L&T), PL (Programmes), it would be useful for School senior staff (PLs L&T, Programmes, HoDs) to attend the session to be able to guide staff on completing the process.

Any staff that were unable to attend the School specific sessions.

Designing Learning Experiences on Blackboard Ultra

Blackboard Ultra is the University’s Virtual Learning Environment (VLE). It is a modern, responsive platform, designed to function on all devices (including mobile), and is used for all our campus taught courses. A series of monthly institution-wide sessions aimed at colleagues in Schools understand the basics of Blackboard Ultra and get to grips with the features they will be expected to use when setting up and delivering modules and assessing learning.

CME – Department Report Writing Workshop

The session will be delivered in person on campus and will begin with a brief overview of the revised CME process, followed by an overview of the data provided within the Department reporting template that will be accessible via SQL (please bring a laptop device that you can use to access your report). Following the overview there will be a period of time in the session to begin to write your report and analyse the data within. It would be useful to have access to the EvaSys reports for the modules on your course from 2022-23 as the data will not be accessible via the SQL reports.

What excellence in classroom delivery looks like for Ofsted

MS Teams

This session will introduce staff to excellence in classroom delivery for Ofsted inspection. Appropriate for teaching staff, AQCs and Managers of apprenticeship provision. This will take place via MS Teams. 

Introduction to Academic Workload

MS Teams

This session will introduce academic staff to the Academic Workload Management Framework (AWMF) along with the process of workload planning, publication and acceptance of workload allocations.

AI in Education

M4.19 Middlesbrough Tower, Teesside University

A facilitative workshop for academic staff and professional services staff across the University, to come together to discuss the affordances of AI in Education, how it can be utilized in the classroom with students, how we can build AI literacies for staff and students and the efficiencies of AI in our daily roles.
