Higher Technical Qualifications (HTQs) are level 4 and 5 qualifications recognised by the Institute for Apprenticeships and Technical Education. Developed in conjunction with employers, HTQs will form a key component of the higher level skills agenda, and underpin the introduction of the Lifelong Loan Entitlement.

Chris Cherry from the Strategic Development Network will deliver a 1.5 hour introductory briefing for TU staff on HTQs with particular emphasis on principles of HTQ delivery, approval process, curriculum development and assessment strategy.
