Caitlin Timlin

Caitlin graduated from University of Sunderland in 2018 with a BA(Hons) Graphic Design.

Following graduation, she joined Teesside University to become part of the Online Learning Designers team, working on the TUOLE project and then on the wider online learning project on TU Online. She then began to build her portfolio of online learning designs by creating 2D and 3D pieces, as well as contributing to design work on the university’s strategic online learning project, where she works with various schools across the university. Caitlin uses her design skills to develop the online learning courses, as well as to assist on other projects within Student Learning and Academic Registry. Caitlin can work on designing promotional pieces, as well as typography and logo design. Caitlin also writes weekly posts for the LTE blog, as well as working on CreatorLab and a range of other projects across SLAR.

Caitlin has achieved Microsoft Innovator Educator Expert status and the Microsoft Office Specialist in Word, PowerPoint and Outlook. In addition, she has also achieved Microsoft Certified Educator status. She is a certified Adobe Creative Educator, Levels 1 and 2, and also an Adobe Certified Associate in InDesign.
