Below are all of the important summer dates and deadlines to add to your diary for UCAS Undergraduate applications for 2021 entry.
Please note the dates may vary between courses and course providers.
30 June Main Scheme Closes – If an application is sent to UCAS by 18:00 (UK time) on this day, they will send it to the chosen universities or colleges. Applications received after this date will automatically be entered into Clearing.
4 July Extra Closes – Last date for applicants to add an Extra choice.
5 July Clearing Opens
10 August A Level Results Day – SQA results day.
12 August GCSE Results Day – A level results day.
8 September Advisory Deadline to Meet Conditions – The deadline for any remaining conditions to be met – otherwise the university or college might not accept the applicant. Adjustment ends on this date.
21 September Final UCAS Application Deadline – The final deadline for applications to 2021 courses. Applications must arrive at UCAS by 18:00 (UK time).
19 October Clearing Closes – The deadline for adding Clearing choices.
20 October 2021 – Last date for universities and colleges to accept applicants in Clearing.
