The Clinical Practice Summary Form is a document which grows with the trainees over their three years of training and comprises a summary of the clinical work undertaken. The document is designed to conform to the categories of clinical experience specified as necessary to the BPS. In this way the document will enable the Course Team to monitor the range of experience being accrued by trainees such that the training pathway will not include any significant omissions or departures from the BPS criteria.
The Clinical Practice Summary should be reviewed by supervisors at the end of placement meeting, with the trainee.
