JACOB HANSON is one of the many children in the UK who have autism.
It is a condition which makes it difficult for him to make friends.
Now twenty one years old, Jacob has been able to live a more normal life thanks to a charity called Daisy Chain that was established in 2003 by his mother Lesley.
When Jacob was first diagnosed Lesley realised the services available to them as a family were very limited.
She decided to set up Daisy Chain near Middlesbrough to help other children and families in the same situation as her.
She wanted to provide a safe area for children to be themselves and for families to get all the support and information they may need, as Tside reporter MELISSA MAJOR discovered.
