Yesterday, on the hottest day of the year so far, students and staff were invited for a tour and talk at award-winning London design studio, Browns. A familiar face was there to greet the visitors, as our very own Teesside University Graphic Design graduate, Emily Breakell, is a member of the agency’s design team, having worked in the capital for a number of years. Each designer spoke to the students about their work, and founder, Jonathan Ellery, even sent out for ice lollies! Browns’ numerous awards include Creative Review magazine’s ‘Design Studio of the Year 2011’. Many thanks to everyone at Browns for being so generous with their time.
