Students add their magic touch!

Residents living in Church View Residential and Nursing Home in Stockton are enjoying new surroundings inspired by students from Teesside University.

The second year Interior Architecture students were invited to submit ideas on how the interior of the home could be improved – a number were put in place within a week.

One of the home’s owners, Dr Robert Sagoo, said: “The students submitted some wonderful, fresh and modern ideas. We would like to thank them for their enthusiasm and are delighted some of their ideas have already come to fruition.”

Penelope Tiffney, associate lecturer in Spatial Design at Teesside University added: “The students were briefed to bear in mind the design should reflect an interior suitable for older people and they rose to the challenge admirably.”
