I have started this stage chronologically. The game starts with a small tutorial then leads to a survival type of game. This is all automatic and doesn’t need further input from me.
There are a few checks that occur behind the scenes that control when the level moves on. I’m not relying on timers or delays.
i have updated the enemy models with retro enemy designs. They have similar resemblance to their intended role.

I am interested in the idea of adding a miniboss after this section. I will focus on the critical path, but i will attempt my miniboss idea if i have enough time.
