{"id":1243,"date":"2022-03-01T16:03:00","date_gmt":"2022-03-01T16:03:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.tees.ac.uk\/teesmade\/?p=1243"},"modified":"2022-03-01T16:03:00","modified_gmt":"2022-03-01T16:03:00","slug":"product-design-alumni-talks-2022","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.tees.ac.uk\/teesmade\/2022\/03\/01\/product-design-alumni-talks-2022\/","title":{"rendered":"Product Design Alumni Talks 2022"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Ben Russi: Lead Design Engineer, Dyson<\/strong><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Teesside Product Design Graduate, Ben Russi will be giving a special guest lecture about his career to date.<\/p>\n<p>Ben studied Product Design from 2009 &#8211; 2012. \u00a0 During his time at Teesside, Ben undertook live projects for Nifco UK Ltd (Tees Valley) and Willerby Holiday Homes (Hull) which helped him to build the technical portfolio needed to successfully apply to Dyson. \u00a0 Ben graduated from Teesside with a 1<sup>st<\/sup>\u00a0class honors degree, going on to study for a\u00a0Masters in Design Management.<\/p>\n<p>On graduating, Ben went through a rigorous selection procedure and secured a position with the\u00a0renowned\u00a0manufacturer\u00a0Dyson as a Design Engineer,\u00a0where he has been for the last 8 years.
