We know that April can be a particularly stressful time with deadlines looming, but getting out and socialising is a great way to reduce stress levels which can help with your work and improve your mental health.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

So why not step out for ‘Middlesbrough\u2019s sparkliest party\u2019, or get away from it all with a visit to Bamburgh Castle? All this and much more is coming to the Students\u2019 Union this month.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

\"Alnwick<\/span>Harry Potter Trip to Alnwick Castle and Town\u00a0 |\u00a0 1 April<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Are we excited for a Harry Potter-themed day out? Always.<\/span><\/p>\n

For those of you who don\u2019t know (muggles), Alnwick Castle was one of the filming locations for Hogwarts in the first two Harry Potter movies. We\u2019re heading there to see where the magic happened, take part in some wizarding activities and see the surrounding area.<\/span><\/p>\n

‘Middlesbrough\u2019s sparkliest party\u2019 is hitting the Students\u2019 Union with another dazzling drag show and a stellar line-up of queens.<\/span><\/p>\n

Extra special guest Bailey J Mills<\/a> will be joining Penny Tration<\/a>,\u00a0Kylee Gender<\/a> and PHATSY<\/a> alongside L!PSTICK founders Monarchy<\/a> and spoken word artist Leah Roberts.<\/span><\/p>\n

We\u2019re told we can expect out-of-this-world glamour, sickening splits, games, prizes, audience participation, male strippers and shade.<\/span><\/p>\n

Bamburgh and Holy Island Day Trip\u00a0 |\u00a0 29 April<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

From Alnwick to Bamburgh, the Students\u2019 Union is hosting another day trip this month to take in the picturesque views of Bamburgh Castle and Holy Island.<\/span><\/p>\n

And if you\u2019re an Indiana Jones fan, you\u2019ll be pleased to know that the castle was used as a filming location in the next instalment of the franchise, which is due for release later this year.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
