I\u2019m Niamh and I work and study in Middlesbrough \u2013 here are some top reasons why it\u2019s a great place for both.<\/p>\n

Things to do<\/strong><\/p>\n

Middlesbrough\u2019s town centre has undergone a remarkable transformation. The campus is in the heart of the town, just a short walk away from places to shop, eat and have fun.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Level X<\/a>, located in Captain Cook Square, offers electric karting, bowling, VR gaming, karaoke pods and vintage arcade machines. Across the square there is Bazaar<\/a>, a high-end restaurant featuring global cuisine and an open kitchen.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The town\u2019s independent quarter around Baker and Bedford Street, Linthorpe Road and Albert Road is thriving with unique bars, caf\u00e9s and restaurants. From quaint cocktail bars to lively pubs, there\u2019s something for everyone. And if you\u2019re looking for a lively day out, visit on an Orange Pip Market day<\/a> to enjoy pop-up bars, eateries, live music and performances.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Exchange Square has become a hotspot, featuring the popular STACK<\/a> venue, which offers street food, drinks and live entertainment. The Gresham area is also undergoing a \u00a3200 million regeneration project, including the development of over 230 build-to-rent properties, a 400-bed student accommodation block and a new 200-bedroom Fairfield by Marriott hotel.
