{"id":78,"date":"2019-08-19T14:46:58","date_gmt":"2019-08-19T13:46:58","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.tees.ac.uk\/students\/?p=78"},"modified":"2020-02-25T16:06:32","modified_gmt":"2020-02-25T16:06:32","slug":"best-pubs-around-campus","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.tees.ac.uk\/students\/2019\/08\/19\/best-pubs-around-campus\/","title":{"rendered":"Best pubs around campus"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Pubs, taverns and alehouses have been staples of British culture for centuries.<\/p>\n<p>They\u2019re a place to eat, socialise, celebrate, and have meetings or just to blow off some steam.<\/p>\n<p>For students, these become a second home, after the library, as many have facilities that adhere to the student lifestyle.<\/p>\n<p>You come here during Freshers, welcome week, after your first hand-in, after your last hand-in, at the end of term, at the end of your course, at graduation and if it\u2019s just a Thursday.<\/p>\n<p>There are a great selection of pubs in the Teesside University area. Here are just a few.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 18pt\"><strong>The Southfield<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Southfield Road.
