Optometry is constantly evolving \u2013 and so is our clinic. Our Optometry Clinic expansion (opening this year) marks an exciting step forward for students and the\u00a0<\/span>public, bridging th<\/span>e gap between real-world practicality and classroom theory. The new clinic will help deliver high-quality eye care to the community, while transforming the way you learn, offering a more patient-centred approach to develop fundamental skills for the future. Modern and advanced technology familiarise you with a contemporary optometric practice, mirroring <\/span>the experience and atmosphere of a professional environment, and offering a new understanding of what optometry has to offer.<\/span><\/p>\n

A more hands-on approach to learning<\/span><\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Transforming how you learn, the new clinic will support you academically with a more patient-focused approach. While performing comprehensive eye examinations and diagnostics, you gain direct access to understand common and complex visual conditions, sharpening your clinical judgement and skills by receiving immediate feedback. You refine your clinical techniques and gain first-hand experience to some of the challenges that the real world has to offer \u2013 <\/span>establishing\u00a0a\u00a0solid\u00a0foundation t<\/span>o become\u00a0a\u00a0proficient healthcare professional.\u00a0<\/span>The clinic also offers advanced diagnostic technology, such as OCT imaging, retinal\u00a0cameras\u00a0and auto<\/span>-refractors,\u00a0imitating the environment of a modern optometry practice,\u00a0so\u00a0you\u00a0can\u00a0provide\u00a0the most\u00a0accurate\u00a0level of eye care\u00a0and ensure you are\u00a0job-ready.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
