Some things are that obvious in your day-to-day life that you might forget to take them if you\u2019re moving away to Uni!<\/p>\n<p>You want your accommodation to feel like home, so don\u2019t forget:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>duvet and sheets<\/li>\n<li>pillows and pillowcases<\/li>\n<li>decorations like photos, plants, collectables, and any other little trinkets that you\u2019d have at home to make your room feel like it\u2019s yours<\/li>\n<li>coat hangers<\/li>\n<li>an airer<\/li>\n<li>a bin for your bedroom.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Things that you\u2019ll need daily and anything important:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>charger cables and adapters<\/li>\n<li>any ID and important documents you might need<\/li>\n<li>a couple of bags to suit different needs, like a small one for trips out and a bigger one for things like your laptop and textbooks you use<\/li>\n<li>any medicine you need to take and essentials like paracetamol and ibuprofen<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Bathroom and kitchen essentials:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>mugs and glasses<\/li>\n<li>pots and pans for cooking, this will depend on what and how often you like to cook<\/li>\n<li>chopping board and trays<\/li>\n<li>cutlery<\/li>\n<li>plates and bowls<\/li>\n<li>bin bags, foil and cling film<\/li>\n<li>cooking utensils like wooden spoons and spatulas<\/li>\n<li>tea towel and dish cloth<\/li>\n<li>shampoo<\/li>\n<li>toothpaste<\/li>\n<li>soap<\/li>\n<li>bleach<\/li>\n<li>anti-bacterial wipes<\/li>\n<li>toilet roll.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>You\u2019ll probably need some extra bits and bobs once you arrive and get settled in, but these essentials should set you up nicely for your first few weeks.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The thought of going to University can be a stressful experience, and with so much to consider, we\u2019re here to give you a hand with preparing for Uni with our summer checklist.
