I spent four years as a reporter for The Northern Echo covering a mix of court, council and other current affairs across the North East of England. I moved on to become Head of Marketing and Communications at the Great North Air Ambulance Service, as part of an award-winning team which gained international recognition for its pioneering pre-hospital care service. I then joined Teesside University in 2022 and am currently a Senior Lecturer in Digital Journalism.<\/p>\n
