Have you been asked to carry out an assignment as a group?  Group work at a distance brings extra challenges. This online session via BlackBoard Collaborate will give you hints and tips on how to enable your group to run smoothly including:

·       managing group dynamics

·       avoiding conflict

·       group presentations

Come and join in our virtual Q&A with Sport & Wellbeing for hints and tips on keeping active. Lots of ideas to help you keep active with limited space and equipment. A chance to ask questions and keep in touch with friends and colleagues.

Food and Nutrition ideas

Join us each Friday from 11am-12pm on Microsoft Teams to discuss everything food and nutrition. Do you need some tips to cook with limited supplies or some nutritional advice to help boost immunity and mood? We are extremely lucky to have qualified nutritionist, Kelly Rose, online each week to answer your questions. We’d also love to hear about what you’ve been cooking and baking so please tell your friends and colleagues as all students and staff are welcome.

Virtual reading group

If you enjoy reading, join our Reading Group. Whilst the University is closed due to Coronavirus we are holding a virtual reading group on Microsoft Teams.  We will be meeting fortnightly to discuss our current book title and also to check-in with each other.

The next meeting is on MS Teams today at 2pm, We have just started reading ‘1984’ by George Orwell. You don’t need to have read the whole book to join in the discussion. Some of you may have seen the film, so we’d like to hear your views on that too!
