Dance lecturer, Heike Salzer, is excited that the dance video Strönd (Beach) created with her company Salts will be screened at the International Video Dance Festival of Burgundy which takes place on the 5th of April in France. The video was one of 19 chosen from 300+ submissions and will be screened alongside exciting work from artists from all over the world.
Second year dance students, Jennifer Snow, Jessica Smith and Huey Teng have been invited to perform their dance piece, In-Side-Out at Middlesbrough FRESH performance at the Town Hall.
FRESH is an open forum for sharing and discussing new work. Artists may present work at an early stage of development in an informal studio setting. The event is organised by Hannah Marshall and Rachel Jean Birch, two dance artists based in the North East region. After the showings there is room for discussion which Heike Salzer, Programme Leader Dance at Teesside University will facilitate alongside artist Tim Rubidge.
