Welcome to my blog for my final year project. The aim of my project is to implement stereoscopic reprojection in a deferred rendering pipeline for VR. Stereoscopic Reprojection is essentially moving the pixels from one “Eye” in a stereo image to the other so you don’t have to render them again. So, that’s the plan, but before I start reprojecting pixels I have to be able to draw them, which is what I spent my first week working on.
During my first week I started building a 3D graphics engine, using OpenGL with GFLW and GLEW. Currently I am rendering a quad over the screen, as a temporary measure until I have a system to load meshes into my program, which is the next task for me to do.
