What is it?<\/strong><\/h5>\n

Microsoft OneNote is a digital notebook<\/a> and organiser which users can access from a desktop\/mobile app or the browser.<\/p>\n

What\u2019s it for?<\/strong><\/h5>\n

It\u2019s a fantastic tool for note-making, capturing ideas and organising tasks and to-do lists all in one place, on any device. \u00a0Students can draw, record audio notes, insert online video and attach files to pages.\u00a0 \u00a0This would be an ideal app for students to manage their notes and resources for their modules and an area to record their reflections and learning journey.<\/p>\n

Students can also choose to share the Notebooks with others and collaborate with their peers.<\/p>\n

OneNote also includes tools for accessibility<\/a> and support students with different abilities. The Immersive Reader<\/a> in OneNote Learning Tools is a screen reader experience to increase readability content in OneNote document. \u00a0The tool is designed to support students with dyslexia and dysgraphia in the classroom, but can support anyone who wants to make reading on their device easier.<\/p>\n

Is there an app for it?<\/strong><\/h5>\n

Yes, you can access OneNote using the desktop \/ mobile app or the browser.<\/p>\n

How long does it take to set up?<\/strong><\/h5>\n

By default, all TU students and staff have a personal notebook setup!<\/p>\n

All you need to do is sign in to OneNote with your University credentials (email and password) and once you are logged in you will see a personal notebook available to you i.e. Your name @ Teesside University.<\/p>\n

You can also create additional notebooks as required.<\/p>\n

Are other people using it?<\/strong><\/h5>\n

Yes, increasing number of students and staff are using OneNote for note-making.<\/p>\n
