{"id":2178,"date":"2013-12-16T17:09:28","date_gmt":"2013-12-16T17:09:28","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.tees.ac.uk\/teltees\/?p=2178"},"modified":"2017-01-26T11:06:55","modified_gmt":"2017-01-26T11:06:55","slug":"assignment-receipt-emails-for-students","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.tees.ac.uk\/lteonline\/2013\/12\/16\/assignment-receipt-emails-for-students\/","title":{"rendered":"Assignment Receipt Emails for Students"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Following the <a title=\"My Grades Updates - December 2013\" href=\"https:\/\/blogs.tees.ac.uk\/teltees\/2013\/12\/11\/updates-to-my-grades\/\"><strong>My Grades updates announced earlier this month<\/strong><\/a> ..<\/p>\n<p>.. we\u2019re pleased to announce another improvement to the My Grades tool.<\/p>\n<p><strong>For Students:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Students can now send themselves an email listing all their assignment, test &amp; survey submissions on Blackboard for the last 12 months.<\/p>\n<p>This is one of the most requested Blackboard improvements we receive, so hopefully, it will be popular.<\/p>\n<p>Students can get to it by going to the <em>My Grades<\/em> tool and pressing the <em>Email Submission Receipt<\/em> button.<\/p>\n<p>More detailed instructions are on the front page of Blackboard and are reproduced below :<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.tees.ac.uk\/lteonline\/files\/2013\/12\/EmailReceiptInstrBB.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-2180 aligncenter\" alt=\"EmailReceiptInstrBB\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.tees.ac.uk\/lteonline\/files\/2013\/12\/EmailReceiptInstrBB.png\" width=\"420\" height=\"758\" \/><\/a><strong><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>For Staff:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Staff also access the feature through <em>My Grades<\/em>, and have the option of sending themselves an email that replicates the one received by any of the students on their module.<\/p>\n<p>We maintain an audit trail of emails sent to students, so they can be used with confidence as proof of assignment submission.<\/p>\n<p>Just one last thing &#8211; some users have requested receipt emails that are sent <em>automatically<\/em> when a student submits an assignment.
