{"id":16421,"date":"2024-11-27T12:00:48","date_gmt":"2024-11-27T12:00:48","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.tees.ac.uk\/lteonline\/?p=16421"},"modified":"2024-11-25T09:38:32","modified_gmt":"2024-11-25T09:38:32","slug":"microsoft-copilot-genai-chatbot-feature-update-november-2024","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.tees.ac.uk\/lteonline\/2024\/11\/27\/microsoft-copilot-genai-chatbot-feature-update-november-2024\/","title":{"rendered":"Microsoft Copilot (GenAI Chatbot) feature update &#8211; November 2024"},"content":{"rendered":"<h4>Microsoft Copilot\u2019s New Feature &#8220;Edit in Pages&#8221;<\/h4>\n<p>Microsoft has recently released several new features for its <a href=\"https:\/\/copilot.cloud.microsoft\/\">GenAI Copilot Chatbot<\/a>.\u00a0 This blog post focuses on the new Edit Page feature and associated functionality.\u00a0 \u00a0The Edit Page feature allows users to turn AI-generated content into editable, shareable, and reusable assets:<\/p>\n<p>User will now be able to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Create a page<\/strong>: Click <strong>Edit in Pages<\/strong> at the bottom of a Copilot response to create a page with the response already copied and formatted.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Edit and refine<\/strong>: Continue the conversation in chat while editing the page. More content can\u00a0<span style=\"margin: 0px; padding: 0px;\">be added to the page by clicking\u00a0<strong>Edit in Pages<\/strong><\/span>.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Share and collaborate<\/strong>: Share the page with others so they can collaborate with you. This is achieved through <strong>Microsoft Loop<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Copy component<\/strong>: Click the share icon in the upper right and select &#8220;<strong>Copy component<\/strong>&#8221; to surface the page in a fully interactive way when you paste it into MS Teams or Outlook.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The new Microsoft Copilot &#8216;Pages\u2019 offers a dynamic and persistent canvas that is designed for multi-user AI collaboration allowing users to blend human and AI interactions into a seamless workflow.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><strong>*NOTE\u00a0<\/strong>Please note that Microsoft is rolling this feature out in phases. Most staff at Teesside University should already have access to this functionality; however, if you don\u2019t see it in your Copilot environment yet, rest assured that it will become available
