<\/a>Stay ahead with the latest updates in Adobe Express!<\/h4>\n

We\u2019re excited to share with you the recent functionality updates and enhancements to Adobe Express, designed to make your creative projects more powerful and intuitive than ever.\u00a0 These new features will help you streamline your work, enhance your teaching materials, and elevate student engagement.<\/p>\n

Due to the length of this update, we have split it into sections that can be accessed via the \u2018Contents menu<\/strong>‘ below.\u00a0 Following each section there is a \u2018Back to top<\/strong>\u2018 link that will return the reader to the top of the page.<\/p>\n

**<\/strong> It should be noted that Adobe Express has concentrated on updates to the presentation tool, including the ability to import a pre-existing PowerPoint presentation, adding animations and transitions and a powerful presenter mode.\u00a0 These three updates are covered first in this blog post.<\/p>\n

    <\/a>Add transitions to presentation slides<\/h5>\n

    \"Image<\/a><\/p>\n

    Move your audience seamlessly between the slides in your presentation with engaging transitions such as\u00a0Slide<\/strong>,\u00a0Wipe<\/strong>,\u00a0Dissolve<\/strong>, and more.<\/p>\n

    With slide page transitions, you can seamlessly transition between presentation slides in fun and engaging ways. Open your presentation in Adobe Express. To add transitions between your slides, complete these steps:<\/p>\n

    1. Select a slide, then select the (more options) three dots\u00a0icon.<\/li>\n
    2. Select\u00a0Add transition<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
    3. In the\u00a0Transitions<\/strong>\u00a0panel, choose the\u00a0Visibility<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0Move<\/strong>\u00a0options.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      \u00a0<\/strong>*NOTE:<\/strong>\u00a0Select\u00a0Apply to all pages<\/strong>\u00a0to add the transition effect between all the slides.<\/p>\n

      <\/a>Import a PowerPoint<\/h5>\n

      \"Image<\/a><\/p>\n

      It is now possible to import a previously created PowerPoint presentation into Adobe Express and customise it in Express by adding text, images, animations, and more.\u00a0 The import process is simple but be aware that Adobe Express can sometimes struggle<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

      1. Click the Large ‘Plus (+)\u2019 button located in the upper right of the Adobe Home page and the Upload your content<\/span><\/strong> option.<\/li>\n
      2. Use the Explorer window to locate the PowerPoint file.<\/li>\n
      3. Select Open<\/span>\u00a0<\/strong>in the import<\/span> window to open the presentation in the Adobe Express editor (Adobe Express will now attempt to convert the PowerPoint into an Express-friendly format).<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

        Result<\/h3>\n

        The imported presentation opens in the Adobe Express editor.\u00a0The file is automatically converted and saved as an Adobe Express file in\u00a0Your stuff<\/span><\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

        <\/a>Deliver presentations using Presenter Mode<\/h5>\n

        Take your Adobe Express presentations to the next level with presenter mode! With a dual-screen setup, you can view notes and pages simultaneously in presenter mode.<\/p>\n

        1. Customise your presentation, manage the pages, and have it ready for presenting.<\/li>\n
        2. In the toolbar, select Present<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
        3. Select Present<\/strong> from first page<\/strong>, Present from current page<\/strong>, or select Presenter mode<\/strong> if you\u2019d like to access your notes.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

          <\/a>Restricted lock settings and content control in Templates<\/h5>\n

          \"Image<\/a><\/p>\n

          Create a controlled and focused editing experience to keep your content consistent. Enforce lock restrictions to prevent users from unlocking any locked assets in the templates you want to share. This feature is available only to Teams and Enterprise users.<\/p>\n

          Learn how to lock and unlock elements in your designs<\/a> and apply brand-style controls to the templates<\/a> you want to share.<\/p>\n

          <\/a>Favourite templates and assets<\/h5>\n

          Favourite any template, Adobe Stock photos, videos, design assets, and more, and access them easily in any design.<\/p>\n

          1. Hover over a template, Adobe Stock photo or video, design asset, or background.<\/li>\n
          2. Select the Favorite icon (the heart icon shown in the image above<\/em>).<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

            Once clicked, the template or asset has now been saved as in your Favorites collection. You can add as many templates and assets to your Favorites as you wish.<\/p>\n

            *NOTE<\/strong> To access your Favorites<\/strong> collection from Home<\/strong> or the Editor<\/strong>, select Your Stuff<\/strong> > Favorites<\/strong>.<\/em><\/p>\n

            2. In the left panel, select Brands<\/strong> and then select the brand you want to use.<\/li>\n
            3. Select Apply brand<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

              <\/a>Use reference images in Text to Image<\/h5>\n

              \"Image<\/a><\/p>\n

              Guide the design of generated images by providing style and composition reference images. Style influences the look and feel of your generated image, and composition influences the depth and layout of your generated image.<\/p>\n

              1. On the Adobe Express homepage, select Generative AI<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
              2. In the \u2018Text to image<\/strong>\u2019 section, type what you want to create in detail, and then select Generate<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
              3. In the Text to Image<\/strong> panel, within the \u2018Reference images<\/strong>\u2019 section, select the +<\/strong> icon to add a Style<\/strong> and\/or Composition<\/strong> reference image from your device.<\/li>\n
              4. Choose a Content type<\/strong> and apply Styles<\/strong> from the options provided.<\/li>\n
              5. Select Generate<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
              6. Choose an image from the Results<\/strong> or select Load More<\/strong> to see additional options.<\/li>\n
              7. Select Download<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

                <\/a>Share webpage remixable link<\/h5>\n

                Share remixable webpage links for others to easily customise.\u00a0 In the Share<\/strong> panel, select \u2018Save as a<\/strong> remixable template<\/strong>\u2019.\u00a0 There are two remixable options available:<\/p>\n

                  \n
                1. Adding to a Brand\/Library<\/strong>: This allows the people you have shared the template with to always have access to the most up-to-date version of the template. It also means that others will have access to the template alongside their styles, graphics and logos.\u00a0 It is also possible to add notes to the template to give tips and guidance on how best to use the template as well as limit the ability for other users to change aspects of the template.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

                  1. Publishing a link<\/strong>: This will publish a public shareable link, it is possible to control whether others have permission to remix the template and if the original author\u2019s name is included in the template.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
