Teesside University aims to be a global institution that provides an excellent international experience through partnerships and networks across the world, for example through diversifying and enriching the University by recruiting students and staff from across the world and encouraging students to become global citizens by creating international opportunities throughout their University experience.<\/p>\n

Staff are invited to join a series of monthly online Teaching a Culturally Diverse Student Population sessions<\/p>\n

  1. Wednesday 27th<\/sup> September 2023, 3-4 pm: Integrating students from various parts of the world.<\/li>\n
  2. Wednesday 11th<\/sup> October 2023, 3-4 pm: How can the Language Centre help with students\u2019 academic skills development in a culturally diverse learning environment?<\/li>\n
  3. Wednesday 1st<\/sup> November 2023, 3-4 pm: Questions of English in the classroom: Does language really matter?<\/li>\n
  4. Wednesday 15th<\/sup> November 2023, 3-4 pm: What does academic integrity mean in a culturally diverse learning environment?<\/li>\n
  5. Wednesday 6th<\/sup> December 2023, 3-4 pm: Promoting mobility amongst all students.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
