This update streamlines administrative tasks for Module Leaders, bringing more efficiency to their work.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000\"><strong>New for this academic year:<\/strong> We have made improvements around accessing LibGuides in Blackboard.\u00a0 Similar to the previous version of Blackboard, LibGuide links are now added automatically to each module. There is no longer a need for colleagues to manually set these links in every module.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">&#8220;<em>For staff members familiar with <strong>LibGuides<\/strong> in the previous version of Blackboard (Blackboard Learn), this enhancement and updated process will look and feel quite familiar.<\/em>&#8220;<\/p>\n<p>For a more comprehensive guide to the updated workflow, we have produced the following knowledgebase article: <a href=\"https:\/\/eatsupport.tees.ac.uk\/staff\/knowledgebase\/ultra-libguides-and-readinglists\/\">Module Reading Lists and LibGuides in Blackboard<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h5><\/h5>\n<h5>Checking your LibGuide<\/h5>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\"><strong>Checking the correct LibGuide is being displayed<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Every Blackboard teaching module will include a folder called <strong>Library Resources<\/strong> although this may be nested inside another folder such as <strong>Module Information &amp; Resources<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The <strong>Library Resources<\/strong> folder contains an object link named <strong>Subject LibGuide<\/strong>.\u00a0 Click on this link to confirm for yourself that this is the correct <strong>LibGuide<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-14186\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.tees.ac.uk\/lteonline\/files\/2023\/07\/Image03-2.jpg\" alt=\"Image showing the Subject LibGuide link object in Blackboard Ultra.\" width=\"710\" height=\"106\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blogs.tees.ac.uk\/lteonline\/files\/2023\/07\/Image03-2.jpg 884w, https:\/\/blogs.tees.ac.uk\/lteonline\/files\/2023\/07\/Image03-2-300x45.jpg 300w, https:\/\/blogs.tees.ac.uk\/lteonline\/files\/2023\/07\/Image03-2-768x115.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 710px) 100vw, 710px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>If the <strong>LibGuide<\/strong> is incorrect, Module Leaders can manually alter this on a module-by-module basis.<\/p>\n<p>To achieve this, In Blackboard on the <strong>Module Content<\/strong> page, click on <strong>Module Tools<\/strong> in the <strong>Details &amp; Actions<\/strong> menu. In the menu that appears. Scroll to the bottom and click on <strong>Browse all module tools<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>On the new page, scroll down to <strong>LibGuide Configuration<\/strong>.
