Teesside University has enjoyed considerable success with regards to the National Teaching Fellowship Scheme (NTFS) and Collaborative Award for Teaching Excellence (CATE) over recent years.<\/p>\n

The 2023 National Teaching Fellowship Scheme<\/a> and 2023 Collaborative Award for Teaching Excellence Scheme<\/a> is now open.<\/p>\n

The National Teaching Fellowship Scheme (NTFS) recognises, rewards, and celebrates individuals who have made an outstanding impact on student outcomes and the teaching profession.<\/p>\n

The Collaborative Award for Teaching Excellence (CATE) recognises and celebrates collaborative work that has had a demonstrable impact on teaching and learning.\u00a0 Each award will recognise a team which has enabled a change in practice for colleagues and\/or students at an institutional or discipline level.<\/p>\n

In 2023, the University is seeking to provide tailored support and mentorship for up to three candidates to apply to this year\u2019s NTFS and CATE schemes.<\/p>\n

Student Learning and Academic Registry (SLAR) will be running a 2023 NTFS and CATE Award briefing for potential applicants on Wednesday 9th<\/sup> November, 10:00 – 12:00<\/u> <\/strong>via Microsoft Teams.<\/p>\n

Colleagues interested in learning more about how to progress an application for NTFS or CATE this year, or in the future, please book your place by emailing SLAR LTE@tees.ac.uk<\/a><\/p>\n
