{"id":13009,"date":"2022-10-10T12:00:24","date_gmt":"2022-10-10T11:00:24","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.tees.ac.uk\/lteonline\/?p=13009"},"modified":"2022-10-07T13:06:16","modified_gmt":"2022-10-07T12:06:16","slug":"student-progress-report-for-blackboard-ultra-course-content","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.tees.ac.uk\/lteonline\/2022\/10\/10\/student-progress-report-for-blackboard-ultra-course-content\/","title":{"rendered":"Student Progress Report for Blackboard Ultra course content"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Lecturers need to know how their students engage with course content.\u00a0 Using this knowledge can help instructors take important actions, such as improving course content or reaching out to those students not engaging.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Note<\/strong> This feature is dependent on the \u201cprogress tracking\u201d feature flag being enabled at module level.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.tees.ac.uk\/lteonline\/files\/2022\/10\/Image01.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-13011\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.tees.ac.uk\/lteonline\/files\/2022\/10\/Image01-300x127.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"751\" height=\"318\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blogs.tees.ac.uk\/lteonline\/files\/2022\/10\/Image01-300x127.jpg 300w, https:\/\/blogs.tees.ac.uk\/lteonline\/files\/2022\/10\/Image01-1024x434.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/blogs.tees.ac.uk\/lteonline\/files\/2022\/10\/Image01-768x326.jpg 768w, https:\/\/blogs.tees.ac.uk\/lteonline\/files\/2022\/10\/Image01.jpg 1087w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 751px) 100vw, 751px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>If you wish to use this report, ensure \u201cprogress tracking\u201d is turned on.<\/p>\n<p>Instructors can now see the progress that students indicate for the following content types.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Blackboard Ultra Documents<\/li>\n<li>SCORM packages<\/li>\n<li>Uploaded files<\/li>\n<li>Links<\/li>\n<li>Cloud documents<\/li>\n<li>LTI content with no associated grade<\/li>\n<li>Learning modules<\/li>\n<li>Folders<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The new report allows academics to select any of the above piece of BBU content and view the following information:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Students who have not yet opened content.<\/li>\n<li>Students who have opened or started viewing content; and<\/li>\n<li>Students who have marked the content as complete.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The report includes the <strong>date<\/strong> and <strong>time<\/strong> of when an action occurred (e.g., when a student started viewing content). \u00a0Lecturers can sort by student name or progress status, sorting by progress status can allow quick identification of those students who are not engaging.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.tees.ac.uk\/lteonline\/files\/2022\/10\/Image02.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-13013\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.tees.ac.uk\/lteonline\/files\/2022\/10\/Image02-300x195.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"657\" height=\"373\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Note<\/strong> The Student Name list includes the most recent improvements in diversity, equity, and inclusion.
