{"id":11628,"date":"2021-09-16T09:30:53","date_gmt":"2021-09-16T08:30:53","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.tees.ac.uk\/lteonline\/?p=11628"},"modified":"2021-09-15T15:56:43","modified_gmt":"2021-09-15T14:56:43","slug":"continuous-monitoring-and-enhancement-cme","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.tees.ac.uk\/lteonline\/2021\/09\/16\/continuous-monitoring-and-enhancement-cme\/","title":{"rendered":"Continuous Monitoring and Enhancement &#8211; CME"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Continuous Monitoring and Enhancement (CME) is the process the University uses to assure academic standards are maintained and to enhance the quality of learning opportunities for students.\u00a0 The process is used to consider the student experience at course level, referencing key student satisfaction indicators, for example, the National Student Survey (NSS), Graduate Outcome statistics, the results of module evaluation, feedback from Student Voice Forums and from staff.\u00a0 In addition, the process incorporates the views of external stakeholders, such as External Examiners and Professional, Statutory and Regulatory Bodies (PSRBs).\u00a0 CME is a process of ongoing reflection informing course action planning, development and enhancement. The University\u2019s approach to CME is based on capturing evidence of what has worked well and areas requiring enhancement.\u00a0 However, one of the key drivers is that Course Teams are able to respond to evidence and feedback as and when the need arises, so that students and the course can benefit from real time enhancement.\u00a0 It is expected that this will include liaison with Central Departments to resolve issues and highlight good practice for wider dissemination \u2018in year\u2019.<\/p>\n<p>This session will be particularly relevant for<strong> Course Leaders<\/strong> and will provide an understanding of the University\u2019s CME process and in particular discuss the <strong>Course Journal<\/strong> which is the main mechanism for CME providing the means to ensure the effectiveness and currency of courses and encourages continued enhancement through ongoing reflection.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff6600\"><strong>To book on one of the sessions, please click <a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.tees.ac.uk\/lteonline\/events\/category\/continuous-monitoring-and-enhancement\/\">here<\/a>.\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Continuous Monitoring and Enhancement (CME) is the process the University uses to assure academic standards are maintained and to enhance the quality of learning opportunities for students.\u00a0 CME is a process of ongoing reflection informing course action planning, development and enhancement.
