The deadline for this has now been extended to <strong>6th January 2021.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p data-node-uid=\"238\">This conference explores how personal tutoring and academic advising help students become independent, self-regulating learners. Contributions are specifically invited on the topics of;<\/p>\n<ul data-node-uid=\"239\">\n<li data-node-uid=\"240\">Addressing disparities in engagement by students from groups underrepresented in HE and\/or with protected characteristics.<\/li>\n<li data-node-uid=\"242\">Addressing disparities in progression and degree outcomes for students from groups underrepresented in HE and\/or with protected characteristics.<\/li>\n<li data-node-uid=\"244\">Peer learning.<\/li>\n<li data-node-uid=\"246\">Embedding study skills.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Presenting a session or poster at our conference is a good way to showcase your ideas and achievements, get feedback on your work, develop your professional confidence, build your networks and start new discussions.
