{"id":13382,"date":"2023-02-03T12:41:40","date_gmt":"2023-02-03T12:41:40","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.tees.ac.uk\/lteonline\/?page_id=13382"},"modified":"2023-02-07T11:02:59","modified_gmt":"2023-02-07T11:02:59","slug":"services","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/blogs.tees.ac.uk\/lteonline\/about-us\/services\/","title":{"rendered":"Services Provided by Student Learning &amp; Academic Registry"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Student Learning &amp; Academic Registry is comprised of the following workstreams and offers services as detailed below.<\/p>\n<h6><strong>Academic Development<\/strong><\/h6>\n<p>The Academic Development workstream provides a project-based working methodology across Student Learning &amp; Academic Registry (SLAR).<\/p>\n<p>It leads on nurturing excellence through its Professional Development Framework supporting and promoting external recognition and the promotional pathways around learning and teaching.<\/p>\n<p>We also co-ordinate SLAR\/University engagement with TNE partners.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.tees.ac.uk\/depts\/registry\/academic_development.cfm\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\"><strong>Find out more here.\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/a><\/p>\n<h6><strong>Academic Policy &amp; Regulations<\/strong><\/h6>\n<p>The Academic Policy and Regulations (APR) team maintains the University\u2019s Academic Assessment Regulations and associated policies, manages External Examining and administers the University\u2019s Committees Framework.\u00a0 APR also manages interactions at an institutional level with external quality assessment bodies, engages with the Office for Students (OfS) on the B Conditions of Registration relating to \u2018Quality, Reliable Standards and Positive Outcomes for All Students\u2019 and liaises with the Quality Assurance Agency (QAA).<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.tees.ac.uk\/depts\/registry\/secretariat.cfm\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\"><strong>Find out more here.\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/a><\/p>\n<h6><strong>Digital Transformation<\/strong><\/h6>\n<p>With digital teaching excellence and the creation of outstanding student learning experiences at the heart of the operations of the Digital Transformation team in SLAR, we are pivotal in shaping and supporting the institution in innovative approaches to digital learning and delivery.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.tees.ac.uk\/depts\/registry\/digital_transformation.cfm\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\">Find out more here.<\/span><\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<h6><strong>Quality Assurance &amp; Validation<\/strong><\/h6>\n<p>The Quality Assurance and Validation workstream maintains oversight and management of the University\u2019s approval and periodic review processes, works closely with partners in the UK and internationally, co-ordinates the approval of institutional partnerships and mid-point reviews and is responsible for University\u2019s portfolio development and Continuous Monitoring &amp; Enhancement processes.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.tees.ac.uk\/depts\/registry\/regulations.cfm\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\"><strong>Find out more here.\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/a><\/p>\n<h6><strong>Student Learning\u00a0<\/strong><\/h6>\n<p>The Student Learning workstream of Student Learning &amp; Academic Registry (SLAR) consists of the Student Success and Student Journey Team.<\/p>\n<p>The Student Success Team has been created with the aim of delivering high-impact, data-driven interventions for individual students at most risk of disengagement. The team\u2019s proactive interventions will reach a large number of students in targeted groups. The SST\u2019s observational work will involve ongoing monitoring of TU students using the StREAM data analytics system.
